Green willow is a modern, fresh house set in a wonderful garden near East Preston village, not far from the sea. It has been carefully extended since it opened in 1985, to provide a safe and loving homely environment in which each person can is a family run care home which was established in 1985. It focuses on high standards of care and service within a safe and loving homely environment in which each person can grow and develop whilst enjoying life as they choose to the fullest possible extent. Green Willow is a family run home, with transparent and open communication routes and a great ethos of "the choice is yours". It focuses on four main areas:

CARE - care is paramount and our team of experienced and qualified staff are on duty 24 hours a day to deliver person centred services designed to meet the diversity of need. Staff are highly trained and and they all give their personal best. Green Willow strives for continuous improvement ensuring the very best possible standards of care and service.

FOOD AND NUTRITION - the team of hotel services staff produce a wonderful range of home cooked meals, with as many vegetables and herbs sourced from the garden as possile during the summer months. There is great flexibility of choice and preference, and diet and nutrition play a key role in menu planning with residents. Presentation is second to none and meals are taken in the dining room, in bedrooms, or in one of the sitting rooms if privacy when dining with guests is desired. Or, of course, in the garden in the summer. Events, themed activities and birthdays are always a special treat at any Kew Care Group Home, with food to match.

COMMUNITY - the atmosphere for residents and staff brings a real sense of community, and residents and visitors can develop thier own social fabric with friends, old and new. There are activities and events to join in with all year long - as much or as little as you please. Particular favourites include aromatherapy, exercise groups, manicures, baking and craft. There are trips and excursions, whilst gardening is often weather dependant! Themes and events are popular and monthly Champagne evenings are fun. Resident Circle and Manager Clinics and reviews are held monthly and details of these can always be found in the monthly activities/events listings. Green Willow is delighted to maintain and grow its links to the local community.

FACILITIES - All of the ensuite rooms at Green Willow, some with full bathrooms, are light and beautifully presented with bespoke furnishings. Most have views of the garden, many with french doors, and all have telephone and internet points, television points and links to the nurse call system. The bathrooms, including full assisted hi-lo chair systems, a spa hydrotherapy bath and walk/wheel in showers, are complemented by a treatment room, hairdressing suite and information technology area. The attractive sitting rooms make the most of the garden views, with doors and level access allowing easy strolls around the orchard area, the koi pond and the woodland garden.
