The Rain did not Stop the Fun!

What a fantastic day it turned out to be! Despite the weather, the Summer Party 2023 was a huge success, and the residents had a great time with their loved ones. Westbourne Care Home would like to express its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who came and contributed to the event. Your donations and volunteerism made all the difference. We'd like to give special thanks to Silvana Hobbs, who not only made fabulous bakes but also manned the cake stall, making the event even sweeter. BabaBubs Bakes, thank you for the delicious cupcakes. Denise Ryles, thank you for manning the raffle stand and selling loads of tickets. Gill Whittle and David Whittle, your photographs captured beautiful memories. Gloucester Face Painting, the kids loved your brilliant face painting. The Hog Roast Collection Ltd, your mouth-watering roast hog was a hit. Adrian and his Paradise Ices Ice cream van, thank you for the free-flowing ice cream. Darren Elton, your fancy dress was the talk of the party! We'd also like to give a special shoutout to our amazing housekeeping team for their hard work in making our home look even more lovely than usual. Our cooks, Samike Hatten and Anna Reed, put on a great spread. Lastly, a big thank you to Kelly Weaver, our head of housekeeping, and Gary Hayes, our maintenance personnel, for working extra hard to set everything up.
