Westbourne Care Home is recognising the career advancement of its staff.

Please join us in extending our warmest congratulations to Maisie from the Westbourne family on her recent promotion to Night Lead Senior. Maisie first joined our team as a volunteer during her college work placement in 2019 and became a Carer in January 2020. Throughout her time with us, Maisie has demonstrated unwavering commitment and dedication to her work, especially during the challenging times of the pandemic. Maisie's admirable work ethic and perseverance led to her promotion to Team Leader in March 2022 and then Senior in July 2022. Maisie is a valuable and cherished member of our team, and we are incredibly proud of her accomplishments. We have no doubt that Maisie will continue to thrive in her new role and make significant contributions to Kew Care Group.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Kathy, our exceptional housekeeper, for achieving her remarkable 20-year service award with the Westbourne family! Kathy always brings a smile to our faces, and her tea-making skills are truly unparalleled. She is an indispensable part of our household, working diligently in the laundry room. Kathy, your 20 years of service are a remarkable accomplishment, and we express our gratitude for everything you do. Here's to many more years of your exemplary service!

Let's take a moment to congratulate Holly on her recent promotion to Day Lead Senior. Holly initially joined our team in 2019 as a Weekend Kitchen Assistant while pursuing her health and social care studies at college. Despite the pandemic, Holly remained committed to both her online classes and her work in the kitchen. She then transitioned to the care team in September 2020 after completing her NVQ3 certification. She was promoted to Team Leader in June 2022 and, most recently, earned her promotion to Senior in March 2023.

Currently, Holly is working hard towards obtaining her GSF and will begin her Dementia Lead Award training this September. She is a dedicated member of our team and consistently demonstrates her caring, attentive, and thorough work ethic. We are grateful to have her on our team and proud of her accomplishments and how far she has come.
