There was plenty to celebrate at Westbourne recently as Senior Care Assistant Chris marked an incredible 20 years of service at the home.
Over the past two decades, Chris has become a familiar and much-loved presence within Westbourne. Alongside her role as a Senior Care Assistant, many residents will also know her as the home's in-house hairdresser, while colleagues describe her as someone who brings warmth, laughter and support to those around her every day.
Having spent 20 years caring for residents and building relationships with families and colleagues, Chris has played a part in shaping the welcoming atmosphere that makes Westbourne such a special place to live and work.
Reflecting on the occasion, Helen shared:
"We are so lucky to have you, Chris. Thank you for all the care, dedication and laughter that you bring to Westbourne."
The celebrations were made even more special by the residents and team who came together to mark the occasion. Chris later thanked everyone for making it "the best day ever" and described Westbourne as "the best family a person can have."
Twenty years is a remarkable achievement, and everyone at Westbourne would like to thank Chris for her dedication, kindness and commitment over the years. We look forward to many more happy memories together.
