Green Willow is a modern, fresh house set in a wonderful garden near East Preston village, not far from the sea. It has been a home from home for older people since 1985 and has made its name focusing on the highest standards of care.
In a CQC inspection, relatives "specifically sought us (the inspectors) out so they could express how impressed they were with the dedication and kindness that the staff showed their family members." Care and communication are fundamental to our services. Our dedicated and skilled staff are on duty to deliver person-centred care that caters to the diverse needs of our residents.

The atmosphere for residents and staff brings a real sense of community, and residents and visitors can develop their own social fabric with friends, old and new.
People have the chance to try new activities and events and continue with their current favourites and these are personalised to the resident’s interest and abilities. These may include games, exercise groups, manicures, baking and crafts. Our Well-being team keep everyone occupied whether it's in their rooms or out and about.

There are also trips and excursions available, although gardening activities may depend on the weather. Regular Resident Circle meetings and Manager Clinics are held to gather feedback and conduct reviews. Each summer, we host a Jazz Festival as part of the local East Preston festival.
All the en-suite rooms at Green Willow, some with full bath/wet rooms, are light and beautifully presented. Most have views of the garden, many with French doors. We have superb fully assisted spa bath and shower facilities, a hairdressing suite and treatment room. Two sitting rooms and a dining room allow level access to the secluded gardens.
The team of hotel services staff produce a wonderful range of home cooked meals, and we try to source vegetables and herbs from the garden. There is a great flexibility of choice and preference, and diet and nutrition play a key role in menu planning with residents. Meals are taken in the dining room, in bedrooms, or in one of the sitting rooms in private if requested with guests. Or, of course in the garden in the summer! Events, themed activities and birthdays are always a special treat at any Kew Care Group Home, with food to match.
