Green Willow celebrates Outstanding CQC rating for Well-led

There’s some wonderful news to celebrate at Green Willow, with the home receiving an Outstanding rating for Well-led following its latest Care Quality Commission (CQC) assessment.

The rating recognises the way Green Willow is led and managed, and the work that goes on every day to make sure residents receive good care, feel listened to and are able to enjoy life at the home.

The CQC’s latest assessment took place in March 2026, with Green Willow’s rating for Well-led moving from Good to Outstanding. Inspectors recognised the strong leadership at the home and the way the team work together to provide person-centred care. Residents, relatives and staff also shared positive feedback about their experiences at Green Willow.

For Amy-Louise and the whole team, this is a lovely recognition of the work they put into Green Willow every day.

The CQC feedback also highlighted the welcoming and friendly atmosphere at the home, with the sense of family that residents and relatives experience at Green Willow. Families are encouraged to be part of home life, whether that means joining in with activities and events, enjoying the garden or simply spending time together.

Green Willow's connection with the local community was also recognised. From the annual Jazz Festival to the Green Willow Warblers choir and the many events and activities held throughout the year, there are plenty of opportunities for residents to enjoy life and remain connected to the community around them.

An Outstanding rating for Well-led is a fantastic achievement and one that the whole Green Willow team can be proud of. A huge congratulations to Amy-Louise and everyone at Green Willow. The rating is a wonderful recognition of the care, commitment and hard work that goes into making Green Willow the place it is.

The achievement has also been featured in the local press.
