Manor Cottage joins the Little Lanterns Christmas Collection 2026

Manor Cottage Residential Home is delighted to be taking part in the Little Lanterns Christmas Collection 2026, helping to bring a little joy and comfort to children spending time in hospital or needing extra care this Christmas.

As part of the project, we’re inviting our local community to get involved by donating brand-new items that will be passed on to Little Lanterns for sorting and onward delivery.

What can you donate?

The collection is looking for new items across a range of categories, including:

• Pyjamas: Brand-new pyjamas for babies, children and teenagers.
• Books: Activity books, books for teenagers and new children's books.
• Toys and gifts: Small toys and games, sensory toys, fidget toys and age-appropriate gifts for all.
• Toiletries: New and unopened children's toiletries and personal care items, including shower gel, shampoo, body lotion, toothpaste, toothbrushes and wipes.
• Crafts and activities: Christmas craft kits, colouring materials, stickers, puzzles and activity sets.

How to donate

If you’d like to support the collection, donations can be dropped off at Manor Cottage

Beckspool Road, Frenchay, Bristol, BS16 1NT by Monday 30 November 2026.

After the collection closes, all donated items will be passed to Little Lanterns for sorting and onward delivery.

We’re pleased to be supporting this project and would love our local community to join us in helping make Christmas a little brighter for children who need some extra care.
