We are incredibly proud to share some very special news from Manor Cottage.
Three years after first achieving Gold Standards Framework accreditation for End-of-Life Care, the home recently completed its re-accreditation and earned Platinum status, scoring an impressive 81 points out of 82 in the assessment. End-of-life care is one of the most personal and sensitive parts of the support we provide. It is about taking the time to understand what is important to each person, listening to their wishes and those of the people closest to them, and helping residents feel comfortable, respected and well cared for throughout.
The result reflects the work of the whole Manor Cottage team, led by Rayna, and the care taken to make this approach part of everyday practice within the home. Achieving 81 out of 82 makes the result particularly special, and we could not be prouder of everyone involved. For residents and families, the accreditation offers additional reassurance that the team has demonstrated consistently high standards in an area of care that matters enormously to people and their loved ones.
Huge congratulations go to Rayna and the entire Manor Cottage team on a result they can be very proud of.
