DID YOU KNOW THAT OUR TESTING REGIME HAS BEEN UPGRADED?

We are now testing all staff three times a week. Once a week they use a PCR swab which is sent off to a lab and twice a week, staff use the rapid Lateral Flow Device test kits which give a quick result in 30 minutes. This means that we are even better covered in reducing risk of bringing coronavirus into the care homes. The Residents are still tested every month as a minimum. Our staff are now experts in not only the (not so nice) taking the swab part, but also in the online registration of the tests which can be a bit fiddly and involve some very irritating proving that you are not a robot sections! Thank you to all the staff who work so hard to make sure that we keep our wonderful Residents as safe as we possibly can.
