30 Days Wild - Meeting The Wildlife Trust Challenge

Each of our homes signed up to take the 30 Days Wild Challenge through The Wildlife Trust to do something wild every day this June. We had a great month of gardening, feeding the birds, watching their chicks, and butterfly and bee spotting. We even grew strawberries - some of them are ready already! Our 30 Days Wild packs had wild bingo, tips and advice and our gardens are looking all the better for it and they are buzzing with life. With fewer trips out of the homes and more time in the garden, Residents and staff have noticed animals and plants that we had not seen before and we have all benefited from the well being boost that wild life engagement brings. We will look forward to the rising to the challenge again next June and will try to keep the re-wilding going all year.
