Animal Encounters at Cleeve Lodge

We've had a visit from the Zoolab team and our brave residents loved it! There were a variety of animals that the residents and staff had the opportunity to pet and hold. Zoolab presenters are all "Dementia Friends" trained and when presenting to residents with dementia wear yellow t-shirts and tabards as the colour yellow that remains the visual spectrum with a person who has dementia. The presenters also carry magnifying glasses for those residents wanting to take a closer look or have impaired vision. Some of our residents had no trouble getting up close and personal, as you can see from these amazing photos.
