Day in the life.....

Ever wondered what it is like to live in a care home? Or to work in one of the most rewarding jobs? We will fill you in as we start our social media "Day in the life...." focus looking at what people who live and work in our little family feel about the part they play at the home. Our 'Meet the team' film will show you the whole staff group so that you know who is who. And then watch out for a different staff member or Resident each week sharing why they love being part of the home. Rayna Powell is Registered Manager of The Manor Cottage in Frenchay and as she comments "few of us considered a career in care but now live it and couldn't imagine spending our working days anywhere else" - her Day in the Life...of a Registered Manager is on the Manor Cottage Care Home Facebook page and it is inspirational. Amy Lee is the Deputy Manager at Green Willow (on their Facebook page) and says of working in care - "you won't regret it, you'll only regret not doing it sooner".
