Door covers 

We asked our residents at Manor Cottage if they would like to trial some very clever door covers to help them see which door was theirs. This is our first one and we think you'll agree that it is a very bright and distinctive way for a resident to identify their room. Usually all the doors look similar with a name plate and perhaps photos on. Our residents say that this reminds them of their front doors at home and research on dementia shows that personalisation, bright colours and good contrast can really help sufferers identify things.
