Grow your own? 

Do you grow your own fruit and veg? We always try to at our care homes and our Residents are the most wonderful source of information and tips on what to plant and where and when. Coronavirus got in the way of our usual routines this year so we have much less produce than usual. Green Willow has been harvesting the odd radish and lots of salad leaves. And this week they have had the most wonderful crop of gooseberries. Ray picked them and the other Residents spent a happy hour top and tailing them ready to cook. We have had lots of lockdown time to plan what we will be planting next season and are very much looking forward to it.
