We are all different and that is why our person centred care works so well to make sure that we know what people like to do every day - especially on their birthday. We know their favourite food, we ask them how they have celebrated big birthdays in the past and whether they like a big fuss or something more low key. Our staff take great pride in making sure that Residents' special day is as good as it possibly can be as I think you'll agree the photos below show. Whether it's balloons, a lush cake, choosing the morning dance music, agreeing the menu with the chef or firing a water pistol at the staff after dipping your toes in the paddling pool on a lovely day, a birthday should always be special!
