OUTSTANDING CQC rating at Manor Cottage

Only 4% of care homes achieve an Outstanding rating in their CQC inspection and we are delighted to announce that The Manor Cottage has just received their recent inspection report back and we are in that special, Outstanding group. We are so proud of the whole team who work together with Residents to provide the very best levels of person centred care. The Residents are beside themselves saying "We are officially outstanding, but we knew that already!" and you can see just some of our celebrations in the photograph. CQC inspection reports rate care facilities in five areas and we were given outstanding ratings in Caring and Well-led - testament to all the staff, each of whom plays a key part in making Manor Cottage a home from home, and particularly to our wonderful Manager Rayna Powell. Thanks also to Helen Haughton, our Operations Manager, and Amanda Sloper, the Business Operations Manager, who keep us all on our toes with paperwork and support. 

Manor Cottage is our second home to achieve this - Cleeve Lodge received the Outstanding rating last year and we are over the moon to have two of our four homes recognised for their special levels of service. We can't wait to be able to celebrate with a party as soon as we can.
