Postcard Project

Both our homes Cleeve Lodge and Green Willow, have started a new project called Postcards of Kindness. Residential homes all around the world will be sending them postcards for them to read from their residents and will give them a chance to reply. The idea of the postcards is to encourage residents to remember their holidays and trips they have been on as a child or with their own young families while stimulating, conversations and inspiring happiness. 

Here at Kew Care Group, we are always inspired by different ways to help residents feel connected to the community and the wider world, this project will enable them to travel vicariously via others' words and images. We are going to ask our residents if there is a country they would like to write to if you know any favourite country your loved one likes please let Cathy know. We are looking forward to this project and will keep you posted with our progress via our website and facebook pages.
