"Tough choices for care worker Claire"

We are very proud of Claire from Cleeve Lodge for bravely sharing her experiences of Covid-19 in care homes and juggling home and work life, in the most recent edition of the Downend Voice. Claire and the whole team worked tirelessly, often away from their families for weeks at a time to ensure the safety and well being of those in our care.  She talks candidly and movingly about the compromises of going home after a long shift but keeping separate in the house on her own - especially on her birthday where usual celebrations took a back seat. She shares the fear of knowing that there is an outbreak in the home you are working in but meeting the challenge and carrying on. Thank you to all the staff - we are in awe.
