Relative's Get Together

Westbourne Care Home for the first time in ages held a relative get-together at the home. Relative get-togethers allow family members of our Residents to come together in a relaxed and informal space and discuss/share absolutely anything they have on their minds, allowing them to meet others that are in the same position, with loved ones in the home.  

The evening was a great success, with family members meeting others for the first time and bonding over discussions of their loved ones. The home's manager, Mel, discussed the recent Dementia training that she completed and some relatives showed interest in participating in the training course. All in all, the evening was a positive one for everyone.
